Women in Construction | Volunteer Event

On behalf of the CMAA Houston Chapter, we would like to invite you to attend and/or sponsor a table at the referenced event entitled, “International Women’s Day-Houston”.  The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 23, 2022, and will be in the Ballroom at the Junior League of Houston located at 1811 Briar Oaks Lane, Houston, TX  77027.  This will be a “high profile” event with the news media covering the event and attendees.  The flyer below indicates some of the sponsors to date including Mayor Turner’s office, Houston Airport System, and various professional organizations and private corporations. This is an “in-person” event with no virtual access.

Event Itinerary:

10:30 AM  Doors open, sign in and obtain name tag, tell guests drinks are available on the patio and they are welcome to bring their drinks into the Foyer and Ballroom (patio has a large overhang in case it is raining.)

10:45 to 11:45 AM  Network

11:45 AM  Chimes ring to signal “please be seated at your table”

12:01 PM  Michael Kennedy Welcomes Group recognizes Sponsors and Introduces Moderator, Artanya Mills

12:03 PM  Artanya Mills introduces Speakers from Podium and then joins the Five (5) Women Leaders on Stage (six padded chairs on stage with coffee table) Speakers have a round table in front of the room near the stage also.

1:15 PM  Speakers conclude and Q & A offered to the audience

1:30 PM  Event concludes
